Requirements for SNP Outboard™ ERP Archiving

Prerequisites

1. Content repository

   1. ECC SAP NetWeaver 701 SP-Level 15 +.

   2. The SNP Storage prerequisites required to establish connectivity with external resources are described in Storage Management.

2. Mass archiving + straggler analysis

   1. ECC SAP NetWeaver 740 SP-Level 19 +.

Setup

1. Outboard Service

   1. Set up and activate the Outboard HTTP service in ICF.

   2. Set up the storage connection in Storage Management.

   3. Define the source ID as the archiving client identifier.

   4. Assign the storage to the source ID.

2. Archiving Client

   1. Define the content repository.

   2. Send the system security certificate to the Outboard Service.

   3. Verify and allow the security certificate by the Outboard Service.
